"The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room (no. 10) was clean and the shower was excellent! However, the queen bed was terrible - felt like there were no springs left in it and it felt like you were sleeping on a board. Fortunately we carry our own pillows, so my husband slept in the single bed which was okay, but I put all the pillows under me so it was at least a bit more comfortable! I was glad we were only staying 1 night! The restaurant meals were absolutely fantastic - well presented and delicious! It was a shame about the bed, otherwise I could have given an ‘excellent’ recommendation!"
